Attorney Gwendolyn Lindsay-Jackson is a freelance television legal analyst and has appeared on major television news networks in the United States. Lindsay-Jackson comes to the networks with an extensive legal background in Criminal, Civil and Military Law as private practicing attorney and a former New York and New Jersey Army National Guard JAG, and per diem Bergen County Municipal Appeals and Bergen County Legal Services attorney. Through these experiences Gwendolyn has worked on homicide, sexual assault, drug related offenses, military operational law, wills trusts and estates, divorce, child custody, child support, real estate and personal injury. Gwendolyn began her career as an attorney in the early 1990s and began appearing on major television news programs as a legal analyst since 2005. Since that time, she has covered many high profile legal proceedings and inquiries, including the Ana Nicole Smith Death Inquest, and the Duke Rape Trial, the Seaton Hall University Fire Sentencing, the Corruption Indictment of the former Newark New Jersey Mayor Sharpe James, the Roger Clemens Human Growth Hormone Inquiry and the death of U. S. Marine Lance Corporal Maria Lauterbach. Lindsay-Jackson has appeared as a legal analyst on a variety of high profile major national network news programs, including CNN, True TV, Fox News Channel, MSNBC ,and News 12 New Jersey. Gwendolyn was a 1988 distinguished military graduate from the John Jay College Fordham University ROTC program and received an accelerated Bachelor’s of Science Legal Studies degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 1989, a Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law in 1992, a 2001 graduate of the U.S. Army Judge Advocate Generals Corp Advanced Program, and is a graduate of the United States Army Command and Staff General College (ILE) in 2006. Gwendolyn and has been a member of the U.S. Army Reserve Judge Advocate General Corps since 1995 where she once served as a prosecutor and defense counsel with the New York Army National Guard and worked as a JAG on active duty posts with the 173rd Airborne Division in Italy in the Criminal Justice Division in April 2003 and worked in the legal assistance office in Kaiserslautern Germany in November 2003 as a member of the New Jersey Army National Guard. Gwendolyn Lindsay-Jackson is a former training management instructor for the Empire State Military Academy in Peekskill New York in the early 1990’s and served as former adjunct professor of Business Law at the Bergen County Community College and adjunct professor of Political Science at Passaic County Community College. In addition Gwendolyn is a former employee for the state of New Jersey Essex and Passaic Counties, where she served as training coordinators, acting landlord tenant Master (mediator) and Civil Division Manger Administrative Specialist where she heavily contributed to the design and content of the Newark New Jersey, Essex County Court, and Civil Division Website. Gwendolyn is a member of the bars of the District of Columbia New, York and New Jersey and is married to LTC Trevor L. Jackson, who is serving in Afghanistan and the couple have two sons Cyril and Tarik ages 16 and 13. Jackson works for the state of New Jersey as a Regulatory professional with the Bureau of Securities and serves as a reserve U.S. Army Lawyer with the 7th Legal Support Organization.
