Gwen Shepherd is an African American actress known for her various television appearances. She appeared in Law & Order, Married People and most notably, Seinfeld.
In the Seinfeld episode, Shepherd played a cashier in "The Stranded" (episode 9). She had an altercation with George Costanza after she allegedly short changed George for ten dollars. After George attempts to steal medicine, he gets caught by a police officer. Her character was witty and quick and she didn't believe George's shams.
