Guy Wilson
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Guy Wilson (November 30, 1882 — November 30, 1917) was an English cricketer who played for Derbyshire. Wilson was born in Melbourne.
Wilson's debut first-class match came in 1902, when Derbyshire played against London County, losing by a six-wicket margin despite a century from captain Albert Lawton. Wilson had to wait three years until his second match in which he took part, during the 1905 season, against Marylebone Cricket Club, which at the time stood as the team's fourth-heaviest defeat in first-class history.
Wilson died on his 35th birthday in Cambrai, France.
