The discography of Guy Sebastian, an Australian singer-songwriter, consists of three studio albums, one cover album and eight singles, as of April 2008. He is signed to Sony BMG.
Sebastian won the first series of Australian Idol in 2003, and scored a record deal instantly as a result. His winning single "Angels Brought Me Here" and debut album Just as I Am were both ARIA number one[1], multi-platinum sellers.[2] In 2004, he released his second album Beautiful Life, which showcased a stronger contemporary R&B sound. The lead single "Out With My Baby" became his third consecutive ARIA number one.[1] The album sold considerably less than his debut, but gained a platinum certification.[3] His third album Closer to the Sun became his third Top 5 album and produced two gold singles[4] including "Elevator Love" which showcased Sebastian experimenting with pop-rock. In 2007, Sebastian released a cover album of soul classics. The album became the most successful since his debut, gaining a double platinum certification.[5]
