Template talk:Gutenberg Australia author anchor
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is a template to generate a link to the Project Gutenberg Australia catalogue for an author who has an anchor point in the catalogue page.
See Template:Gutenberg Australia author if there's no anchor and you have to link just to "under S" or whatever.
See Template:Gutenberg Australia to create links to particular ebooks or texts.
[edit] Examples
- Works by Ernest Scott at Project Gutenberg Australia (note, might still be copyright in other countries)
- {{Gutenberg Australia author anchor|link=scott|name=Ernest Scott}}
If you're confident the author's works should be out of copyright everywhere (not just in Australia), then set "copyok" to suppress the copyright caution. This is often only the case for certain pieces of Australiana.
- {{Gutenberg Australia author anchor|copyok=yes|link=kelly|name=Ned Kelly}}
[edit] Process
- Go to the Project Gutenberg Australia catalogue.
- See that the desired author is there.
- Look in the page source for an anchor of the form . (If there's none then you have to use the plain Template:Gutenberg Australia author.)
- On the wikipedia page, put that kelly as the "link" variable in the template, and the author's name in the "name".
