[edit] Re Angela Merkel

Feel free to make edits you see fit.

>why should anyone hide it or want to censor it,I wonder?
I think the people that took it out have a POV... and are lacking a sense of humour.

>Do you think we could link [the Uncle Sam/Angie picture] up again ?
I think it would be fair... especially if you explain that it was somewhat controversial. Nephron 05:38, 25 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Danke schön

Thanks for your contributions in Geist (philosophy). I was wondering if you could cite your sources in its reference section? We are usually expected to cite the sources when we contribute unique, hard-to-find infomation (if they are from books, along with their ISBN). Thank you again. --BorgQueen 17:39, 26 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Geist (philosophy)

Thanks for the message, and I recommend you not to take it personal. In my observation people who take it personal usually do not stay for long here. I recommend you to visit Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Log/2005_September_27 and get some feelings about the general consensus for such issues, and know what kind of article is acceptable and what is not, and how to persuasively defend an article when it gets criticism. Please note that rules are not always set in stone and the consensus often decides the fate of a controversial or "borderline" article. I don't necessarily imply the Geist article is such case, but the Geist article _does_ need to be improved quickly.

Your suggestion of adding a painting is very interesting, however the painting must be connected to the subject of the article in some way, preferably in a direct way. By "direct way" I mean when the original title of the painting contains the word "Geist" for example. Let's do some research.
