It was planned for deletion because: it is an article about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or website that does not assert the importance or significance of the subject.

However Gustaf Ahlbert is an important missionary, as well as an reknown Turckologist. This article should not be deleted, but improved.

I've added a partial bibliography, as well as a link to a book that talks about him. Please also notice that this page is linked to by two other pages in Wikipedia. If this satisfies it can you take off that delete template?--Jdavid2008 03:53, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

It's enough to not warrant a speedy anymore, certainly. I still think it's AfD material for now (though simply fleshing it out would help), but I'm not going to nominate it needlessly since you're working on it. Happy editing! Coren 12:34, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
