[edit] Transliteration of Guruvayur

According to the guidelines given by WikiProject Hinduism, shouldn't the title of the page be Guruvayur, and not Guruvayoor? An example given in the WikiProject page is Bhumi, not Bhoomi. Similarly, Guruvayoorappan should be transliterated as Guruvayurappan, according to me. Adityan 01:09, 26 December 2005 (UTC) The remark that "non hindus are not allowed in the temple" is inappropriate. Instead the writer should restrict his/her comments to the history, geography and the significance of the place. Controversial statements have no place in an encyclopedia.

How is it controversial? It is simply a fact.--Grammatical error 12:41, 31 May 2006 (UTC) Actually Non Hindus are not allowed in the temple .. Even Yesudas was not allowed

[edit] Map Showing Guruvayur

The location of Guruvayur on the map is clearly wrong (on the map, it's in the sea) - can somebody who knows how fix this up? Damanmundine1 08:36, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
