[edit] Article name

Should the name of the article be changed to "Wreck 'em Tech", like the Hook 'em Horns or Sic 'em Bears articles? Almosthonest06 (talk) 04:00, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

"Wreck 'em Tech" seems more in keeping with the fight song than with the hand gesture. "Hook 'em Horns" = horns hand sign; "Sic 'em Bears" = bear claw; "Gig 'em Aggies" = gig (barbed stake used for stabbing frogs). I've most commonly heard the Tech hand signal called "guns up"; but, admittedly, I'm mostly on the outside looking in. Until we come to a decision, I've created a redirect for Wreck 'em Tech. →Wordbuilder (talk) 04:50, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
Ok, the redirection should take care of it. I know here at Tech people say "Get your Guns Up!" and stuff like that but I wasn't sure if the phrase "Wreck 'em" went with the hand sign like "Hook 'em" does.Almosthonest06 (talk) 05:02, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
I was thinking along the lines of "Get your Guns Up!" when I created the article. Glad the redirect takes care of it. If you have any other concerns or think of anything at Tech that needs an article, let me know. →Wordbuilder (talk) 14:48, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
