[edit] Global variation?

Something that comes to my mind is the differing attitudes towards guns around the world must surely have an effect. For example, where I live (the UK) the mere possession of a handgun is illegal, so it could never be legal to use a real handgun in a scene, regardless of consent etc. In the US, attitudes can be very different. Does this make gunplay more common in the US? I have no personal knowledge here, so don't know, but hopefully someone does. 81.158.2.159 03:19, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
