when editing an article in the main space - editors should not leave a time and date stamp. this is just for talk pages. this article reads more like an ad for gunny sacks and in my opinion should be cleaned up and merged into burlap. H2O 02:45, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

Well, I tried to clean up a bit so the page reads less like an advertisement, but it would be helpful if someone who knew something about the gunny/jute sack industry could explain a few things. For instance, are there standard sizes? What's the history of these things? I also added a couple links to the Gunny page, which explains the etymology of the word.
