Talk:Gum Nebula

[edit] Gum 12 or Gum 56
The article starts with the words "Gum Nebula (Gum 12)" yet the link at the bottom is to an article called "Gum Nebula (Gum 56)". That article appears to be about the Gum Nebula I know. Randall Bart Talk 00:40, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] United States and Europe
The line "The nebula is out of sight from most of the United States and Europe" is not quite as international as it could be. Is it visible in Japan? Mongolia? Canada? Of course not. It should say "The nebula is out of sight north of X latitude." Randall Bart Talk 00:40, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] When will it reach us?
The leading edge of the Gum Nebula is only 450 light years away. I seem to recall that it's expected to reach Earth in about 3000 years. If this can be verified it shoudl be included. Randall Bart Talk 00:40, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
