Ok my article has just vanished. What's up with that? Sorry about blanking the page.

This is a real article written by myself, which is why I'm reinstating it and would like to have an appropriate discussion relating to the article's contents.

Link to your notes. I don't know what happened. I removed the speedy tag. Did your write it had been deleted before? If you reposted a deleted article, that could be criteria for a speedy delete. I am putting a helpme tag on your page. An admin or someone knowledeable shoud reply. Hopefully, they can help you get it undeleted. No, it's still there. Yeah its there, because I just put it back after it got deleted. Yes the article had been deleted but without proper discussion. It was completely unjust. So it's back and I want a proper discussion.

Starblind, please stop deleting it. I propose a new discussion board. I am witness to this sport's existence.

    • Note: The reason I'm asking is because we do have a process (called Deletion Review) by which we can re-evaluate an AfD if there's reason to believe the process wasn't followed correctly. The Following is the reason: I am a witness to this sport's existence and have even played it on an amateur level, instructed by some of the professional players, in Canada. Whether some liberties regarding the sports' history were taken, I am not certain, but I know that ALL the facts regarding the game, it's rules, and the names of the players involved, are indeed TRUE. I believe that an encyclopedia such as wikipedia should certainly be happy to promote a young sport on the rise. The reasons for deletion that I read before were basically as follows "we haven't seen any other links regarding this sport on google, therefore it must be false". Clearly this is an ignorant statement, as something new, such as a new sport, will clearly not have gigantic media coverage in the beginning. Please assist me in this effort.

  • Possibly, but do you have anything more to go on besides an eyewitness account of it "existing"? Surely if it's a competitive sport, it must get in the local papers and such. I'd like to see what your references are. Andrew Lenahan - Starblind 00:46, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
