Gulfsails and the Interdictor (see wikipedia) were the only two bloggers on the ground in New Orleans through Hurricane Katrina and the aftermath. Gulfsails is and still remains a valuable historical narrative on the events since the storm's landfall. In fact, the author and his works are currently a United Nations Millenium Development Goals study subject for youths in 21 nations regarding the effects of an environmental disaster on an individuals life.
