Joel was born Joel Benjamin Carver, in Des Moines, Iowa, in May of 1992. His parents are Rebecca and Phil. At the age of 6 weeks he moved for the first time from Altoona, Iowa to Cedar Falls, Iowa. At age 4, his family moved from Cedar Falls to Mount Pleasant, Iowa. At age 6, his family moved from Mount Pleasant to Richland. From there, they moved to Packwood, a small town in southeast Iowa. From there, they moved to Coralville, where they have lived since. Joel has attended 5 schools, 3 elementary, 2 secondary. He is interested in Cars and Music.
