Guildford Grove Primary School in Park Barn, Guildford, Surrey caters for 357 students[1] from the ages of 3-11[2]. The school also has a specialist sign-supported rescue base on the site that supports pupils with profound hearing impairments[3]. At the time of the schools first OFSTED Inspection in March 2003 it was reported that most of the pupils came from the local area[3]

The school has featured in a documentary by Teachers' TV covering the development of garden and wildlife spaces on the school grounds and the role of this in teaching[4].

This mixed, non-denominational primary school[5] opened on September 1st 2001 following the closure of four other local primary schools[3], including Barnwood Primary School and Westwood Park Primary School (Guildford Grove is on the site of the former Westwood Park)[6].
