Previously, there were seperate entries on Guemes, Washington and on Guemes Island, Washington. The former, referred to the island community and the latter referred to the island geography. It seems unusual on wikipedia to separate the two, so I have combined them into one article. I have tried to leave the original articles largely intact but did make some minor grammatical corrections. Midwestmax 06:31, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
