Guddenahalli is a small village situated 50 km from Tumkur District (Gubbi Taluk) of Karnataka State, India. There are about 300-400 families are living in the village. Most of the people are uneducated and mainly depending on small scale dryland farming with olden days techniques. Farmers are struggling with their day today life because of uncertain, ill-distributed and limited annual rainfall. The other problems inlcudes,similarity in types of crops raised by almost all the farmers, very low crop, poor market facility and right value for the production. Because of poor economy of the farmers, they are missing recent days technologies.
