[edit] Foxes/Civet Cat/Rubah/Musang legend

Musang is Civet cat and fox (or commonly the redfox) is rubah in Malay. And as far as I know (I'm not a zoologist mind you), I've never heard of any native species of fox in Malaya or even borneo(apart from flying fox, which is kluang in Malay - definitely not a fox) . Perhaps you mistook Musang for fox I presume?

Masked Palm Civet however is your local mischievous thieving Malaysian Musang (the one with reflective eyes in the dark with striped furry tails), able to tread on power lines and clever enough to break into chicken coops and evade traps. Not to mention being infamous for spreading the SARS.

Anyway, just my 2 cents worth
