"Guantanamera" is the second single released from Wyclef Jean's debut solo album The Carnival.
The song is a cover of the Cuban classic "Guantanamera" and features vocals by Celia Cruz. Also, Lauryn Hill raps on the track.
"Guantanamera" entered the UK chart at #25, its highest chart position, and spent just two weeks on the chart. The song also charted in Switzerland and Sweden.
Copies of the CD single were shipped with a remix of Wyclef's previous track, "We Trying to Stay Alive".
