This stub is here as both a place-holder and an important source of contextual information for a little known program. There is, at this time, not too much to say about gtkterm, as it is no longer in development - but there is a real need for an article that pulls together the small number of available references for it, because gtkterm is available on a number of Linux distributions. [edit] Why would anyone delete this?

Just because these programs are not widely used or popular does not mean they need to be ignored. They are still available in many Linux distributions. Once they disappear from the surface of the earth, then their entry in the Wikipedia can, as well.

I put a lot of effort into digging up these little nuggets; I posted an article so no one else has to. jsnx 21:24, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
