Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Π (film). While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. Tool2Die4 (talk) 17:47, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

What you are proposing is very, very sticky as far as Wikipedia policy is concerned. Being that you wrote the comic, there is an obvious violation of conflict of interest, which is where my warning about self-promotion came in. If the director did in fact contact you to pen a comic, I would venture to say that is relevant to this article. However, for that prose to make it into this article, there would need to be a verifiable 3rd source that can corroborate this. And, playing Devil's Advocate, I'd wonder why the mention of the comic never made it into the article in the first place, which would then make me question its notability. Essentially, just adding the external link to your comic will not suffice, and will most likely be immediately deleted by anyone who sees it. If you can prove that this comic is notable, and relevant to the article, then a small blurb in the Production section of the article would most likely fit. Tool2Die4 (talk) 18:18, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
- You would need proof that the director or one of his assistants can verify your claims. It also gets back to my original point: if this were truly notable, it most likely would've been included in the article by now. The collective wisdom of Wikipedia doesn't miss much. The main point is that you aren't going to get away with adding the information yourself. I'm not saying that it is, or is not, notable, but since you have written the comic yourself, you view the situation in a different light. Tool2Die4 (talk) 19:27, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
