Including Stauber and Rampton undermines the credibility of the whole article. They use the incestuous amplification term as one who has stumbled upon it and appropriated it for political purposes.

Ironically, their collaboration might be a better example of the phenomena of group polarization, one-upmanship, and incestuous amplification.
