Le Groupe Transition is a major music company from Canada. Through its subsidiaries, including Le Studio Transition, Transition Locals, Transition Skateshop and Transition Magazine, Le Groupe Transition (functioning under the umbrella brand name "Transition") is a leading independent music A&R. The current president of the group, and its founder, is M. Christopher Lavigne.

Transition was created on September 24, 2004 by Canadian entrepreneur Christopher Lavigne. It was then named Neverland Records. In the beginning, Neverland was a house-run recording studio with a very little equipment. The two following years were similar, with a little expansion over times. In June 2006, Neverland, having quite a hard financial situation, ceased its public operations, although never ceased to exist as of now. The company changed its name to Le Groupe Transition in November 2006 and opened a first professional recording studio in January 2007. In February 2007, Christopher Lavigne was named Entrepreneur of the Year 2006 by La Jeune Chambre de Commerce de Québec. The Transition Magazine, a long-time project, was then started. Another Transition Recording Studio (Le Studio Transition) is actually in development in the Toronto, Ontario, Canada area. Its opening is planned for January, 2008.

Transition takes a different approach over independent music industry - with a centralized management and by owning all its divisions, from a $20,000 recording studio in Quebec City, Canada to a record pressing plant and an artist management and producing office. The Transition Magazine is a free music magazine distributed every month with a free music compilation in every issue - something never seen before.
