- Baggage handlers
- Rampers
- Gate agents
- Ticket agents
- Passenger service agents (such as airline lounge employees)
- Flight dispatchers
Some ground crew members are responsible for cleaning the runway of small metal parts lost from aircraft, in order to prevent Foreign Object Damage.[citation needed]

In the Air Force, the Ground Crew consists of two members: the Crew Chief ("A" man) and a Weapons Tech or Specialist ("B" man). These two individuals work together to launch and recover the aircraft.
