[edit] Details on robbery.

Having watched all three movies several times, with and without commentary, I have to ask where the information came from which details the planned robbery. According to the commentary track I heard, all that is known is that Griff and his gang wanted Marty Jr. to help them with something, more than likely illegal, and sure to get Marty Jr. in trouble. Exactly what they're planning on doing is left intentionally ambiguous, just like the transaction that Needles convinced "Old Marty" to participate in which resulted in his getting fired.
