I'm a professor of New Media and Media Culture. For me, Wikipedia is a research tool, a means of expression through contribution, and an object of study in its own right. One of my research topics is Web 2.0 and participatory culture, so the way Wikipedia works is something I look at closely.

• Writing and Editing about New Media art and culture
• Writing and Editing about coastal Californian geography and history
• Learning more about Wikipedian culture

• In the future, I hope to get involved in some translation from non-English Wikipedia to English Wikipedia
