Howdy and welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed your edit on the Hopeful Monster article. I agree that I think the prior version represented a creationist view. I have gone ahead and restored what I think was the article prior to the creationist rewrite, feel free to look it over. To restore old versions (called reverting) look at the history tab. There you can see every revision the article has gone through. If you want to restore an old version,
- under "History", click on the date/time of the version you want. This brings up the page as it once appeared.
- Click "edit this page." A warning should be at the top of the page indicating you are editing an old version. No need to modify the text.
- Add an edit summary indicating revert and reason (like "revert, vandalism" or "rv to last edit by Bcasterline.") and click save.
- Check the saved page is what you expect.
In general, you should never revert a page more than three times in one day. More information can be found at WP:REVERT.
I have gone ahead and attached a welcome message below, since it has some useful links. Feel free to write a note on my talk page if I can help with anything. Well done and again, welcome to Wikipedia. --TeaDrinker 00:23, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of Eventum
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Eventum, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Eventum seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Eventum, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself.
