[edit] April 2008

With regard to your comments on Wikipedia:Reference_desk/Miscellaneous#Upwards: Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Calling someone a fagot is entirely unaccetable. Queerbubbles | Leave me Some Love 15:28, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

It is unacceptable to call someone a faggot. Period. End of discussion. Queerbubbles | Leave me Some Love 15:45, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
It is none of your concern. He is not editing in the mainspace so therefore there isnt a problem. He just cant spell. If you are feeling this intense about it, simply go to another ref board. Queerbubbles | Leave me Some Love 15:49, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

|[1] Please do not attack other editors. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Queerbubbles | Leave me Some Love 15:55, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for personal attacks, as at [2]. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. - Philippe 15:57, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "Where have I attacked another user? Show me. I've been civil, peppered with the occasional expletive for good measure. I have attacked no one. Green t-shirt (talk) 15:58, 21 April 2008 (UTC)"

Decline reason: "You have a tendency to call people names when you disagree with them. Your overall attitude is hostile. I would think of the 24 hour block as somewhat of a gift, if it had come from me it would have been longer. — Trusilver 16:03, 21 April 2008 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

Well, one place is at this location: [3]. I suggest you take some time out and review this community's guidelines. - Philippe 16:01, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
I am sorry for mis-spelling words. Long sentences jumble up when I type and I can't always see my mistakes. Unfortunately internet explorer does not have a built in spell checker, and I would be a lot of hassle to copy all of my words to microsoft word to spell check them. I will do my best to improve my spellings in further posts.
Fine, I'll wait out the block. Its not like I care anyway, it's your problem if you allow idiots like that to get away with it. Green t-shirt (talk) 16:04, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Calling an admin anyone an idiot is a personal attack. Queerbubbles | Leave me Some Love 16:05, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Indeed it is. I was just going to review your unblock and say pretty much exactly what Trusilver said: that you were lucky to get away with only a 24-hour block. But then you chose to make another attack, so you are now blocked for 1 week. Next time it will be indefinite. Mangojuicetalk 16:08, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
What! How have I made another personal attack when I can only edit my page? I said I'd wait out the block. I'm cool with that. Now its a week? Are you trying to get rid of me? Is that how is done around here Green t-shirt (talk) 16:10, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Its not like I care anyway, it's your problem if you allow idiots like that to get away with it. <-- Personal attack. Queerbubbles | Leave me Some Love 16:12, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Ugh. Fine. Whatever. Green t-shirt (talk) 16:13, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
I might like to add that your own guidelines could be seen as an attack, "Obvious cranks and disruptive editors may be blocked indefinitely". So its alright for you to call me a crank but I can't call someone else an idiot? Green t-shirt (talk) 16:15, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
One could argue that you're not an obvious crank... but rather a disruptive editor. And thats not a personal attack because we are discussing your edits, not your person. Queerbubbles | Leave me Some Love 16:19, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Really? So I just so happens that it links to Crank (person)? You imply I am a crank by linking that page in the block log. I am not debating the issue of you calling me a crank, personally I couldn't care less. But I am not afforded the same liberty to call others pejorative terms as you. Then you preach to be about personal attacks? Green t-shirt (talk) 16:24, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
In this case we are calling you a disruptive editor. When you are off of your block you can bring up the crank issue at the WP:NPA talk page. Queerbubbles | Leave me Some Love 16:26, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Hi, jumping in here. Good point about "crank" being in the guideline's nutshell, so I fixed it. I should point out that is all you've got to do if people make typos or other errors in the mainspace, just fix it. Calling people names is counterproductive. Ashanda (talk) 16:33, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your question

I have responded to your question on my RFA.--Kumioko (talk) 16:04, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks. I can't edit your page as I'm blocked right now, but I liked your answer. I think you might be assuming a little too much faith with some users, though. There is only so much crap you can take from obvious idiots before you have to do something. But thanks for replying, I appreciate it. Green t-shirt (talk) 16:08, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
LOL, I find this discourse amusing given current circumstances. - Philippe 16:10, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
It's one of those T-shirts with "IRONY" written across it. (Or was it "IRON ME"?) --David from Downunder (talk) 02:46, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
I suppose you think you clever, do you? Australians... *shakes head* Green t-shirt (talk) 15:28, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
Blocked. Looks like I had the last laugh. --David from Downunder (talk) 05:01, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] WP:CIV

I've indefinitely blocked you for incivility and personal attacks. Mangojuicetalk 12:01, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
