[edit] etc vs et al
For people we say et aliae (et al), for things we say et cetera (etc)... Saying etc for people is like saying 'Mr X and other things' instead of the indented 'Mr X and other people'. NerdyNSK 16:32, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
