[edit] DOB must be wrong

Born in 1972? He looks much older than that. And I can't believe he's 19 years younger than Jeff Fatt. Are we sure about these DOBs?24.21.139.41 07:21, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

I don't know about the exact DOBs, but I've heard before that Greg is about 20 years younger than Jeff. e.g. their interview on Enough Rope http://www.abc.net.au/tv/enoughrope/transcripts/s886402.htm Rocksong 11:15, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

No he was born in 1972..

[edit] Family?

Why have all references to his family been deleted? According to Google, the article once mentioned his wife and two children...why was this info removed? -Grammaticus Repairo 16:29, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re-edit

As I have done with other Wiggles articles, this page has been completely overhauled. I deleted all information that I couldn't back up with sources, and added other stuff that I could, like his discography. I cleaned up the content, corrected errors, and fixed links and sources. I believe it better follows Wikipedia's policy on the bios of living persons.

I tried, but I wasn't able to find anything about Greg's cricket involvement. His name is still on Cricketcoach.com, but I didn't put that here because I suspect that site hasn't been updated in a while, since it had no mention of Greg's illness. If anyone can find that source, please add it back in, because it is very interesting.

I also deleted the names of Greg's children, as per Wikipedia's policy on privacy and on the bios of living persons. Figureskatingfan 06:12, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Correction

Greg Page met Anthony Field when he became a member of the road crew for the Cockroaches. Anthony then convinced Greg to come to his school and take up early childhood education because working as a member of the road crew was limited in dureation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.59.197.78 (talk) 23:29, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

Oh, really? I've done extensive research on The Wiggles, and this is the first I've heard of it. From what I understand, as this article and The Wiggles state, Greg attended Macquarie University to become a preschool teacher right out of high school, and that's where he met both Anthony and Murray Cook. If you could give a source for this information, that would be great, because if it's true, it's very interesting. --Figureskatingfan (talk) 23:55, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Associated content

This site pays anyone to write articles on any subject. The writers are paid by the numbers of visits their stories receive. Thus it qualifies as both self-published and spam, as they have clear economic reasons to create these links. This is the full reason I removed it in the first place. If there is no source to back it up, it should not be included. Stealthound (talk) 17:37, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Stroke

Does anybody know if Greg ever had a stroke? I ask this because in his later years with the Wiggles, the right side of his mouth doesn't move when he talks/sings. It looks like a person who had suffered from a stroke? But I've never seen anything to indicate that he had.Balloonman (talk) 03:48, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

B, I haven't seen anything about this, either. If it were true, I'm sure that The Wiggles would've disclosed it because they tend to tell the truth to their audience. I looked at the video they made with Greg announcing his retirement, and it does seem that he favors the right side of his mouth a little bit. However, I think that's more due to the fact that he's talking about a difficult thing and trying not to be upset. Of course, that's just conjecture, and I have absolutely nothing to back it up with. --Figureskatingfan (talk) 05:12, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
Watch his mouth from anything from about 1998 forward and you'll notice that he favors one side of his mouth. In the earlier videos he doesn't, but it is very prominent in later ones. Again, I haven't seen anything to support this, so it is conjecture. But I was wondering if anybody had an explanation for it?Balloonman (talk) 05:15, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
I found a lot confirming that Greg Page had a stroke, just nothing confirming this Greg Page did.Balloonman (talk) 05:28, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
