Is this bridge really referred to as the Seto-Ohashi Bridge in English? Doesn't the 大橋 (Ō-hashi) part of 瀬戸大橋 (Seto Ō-hashi) already mean bridge? Hence I would've thought referring to it as the Seto-Ohashi Bridge would be like saying Mt Fujiyama or ATM machine. Stephen Mok 18:45, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
- You're right, it is like saying "ATM Machine" ("Mt Fujiyama" is even weirder, since it's "Fujisan" in Japanese). Not sure whether anyone calls it that or not, but if they do, it's reasonable for the article to make reference to it. The article does use "Great Seto Bridge" as the primary name. adamrice 19:05, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
