Talk:Great Battles

[edit] Factual dispute
I did a little research, and found the following:
- No such program specifically called Great Battles appears in IMDb. The closest thing I could find was The Great Battles of the Civil War (1994), which was created by The Learning Channel and certainly must not have included Hastings or San Jacinto. ("Platmy" doesn't even have a WP article at all, let alone an article about its battle.)
- Neither of my two regional (Baltimore/Washington) PBS stations list this program at 10:00 pm ET (or any time) on Wednesday.
- A Google search for "'great battles' pbs 'mark jackson'" yields no relevant results.
- Google and Amazon searches for "15 Most Decisive Battles in the World" yields no results at all. Even "Most Decisive Battles in the World" yields nothing relevant.
Since no source or production information is provided, I have to wonder about the legitimacy of this article. It was created by an anoymous user as their sole edit to date, and no subsequent edits have appeared to validate the information itself. Unless someone can dig up some sources, I think we should nominate this article for deletion. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 02:29, 24 October 2005 (UTC)
