Pfc. Casey McCrady, 4th Platoon, F Battery, 1st Battalion, 22nd Field Artillery, throws a dummy grenade before he tosses a live hand grenade in recent basic combat training at Fort Sill, Okla. Staff Sgt. Eddie Dhanangkul, hand grenade range instructor, observes. McCrady and other trainees learned how to identify and throw grenades at Fort Sill's Sgt. 1st Class Tony B. Burris Hand Grenade Complex, learning the different techniques of throwing, the types of grenades and what they are used for. Based on that knowledge, they threw dummy and then live grenades. Trainees also learn how to react to an armed grenade when it's within killing radius. (Photo by Spc. Walter Ludka, Fort Sill Cannoneer staff)"
