The purpose of this image is to illustrate the character of the Green Goblin to the reader. There is no other image in the article that achieves this goal or other free image which clearly represents the character in a similar manner to this image. The image clearly displays the character's classic goblin outfit, pumpkin bombs, and bat-glider ideally displaying many of his identifying trademarks in a single image with no background distractions.
