In my garden, I grow flowers and trees. I watch them grow and develop a bond like they are my family. We rely on each other and we tell stories. The movement of the leaves make the sweetest melody.

Butterflies and Flowers
Dandy butterflies chime with flowers. The nectar nourishes their sweet souls and continues their existence. Painting the world with colors, you are the consolation prize for us weary creatures. Uniquely beautiful marks on your wings are the paintings by God’s hand. Though your life is short, you are the artist that will always be admired.

Rainbow
Arcing high in the sky
Sipping on drops of rain and sunshine
Weaving dreams and legends in our minds
I’ve seen you since I was a curious child
Holding on to Daddy’s arm, I passed you by
After the rain you came out to smile
Now when it stops raining, I reach for the sky
To catch that rainbow of Daddy and I
Daddy, where have you gone to hide?
You must be waiting for me there, up high
At the end of the rainbow I will find
You and the memories of once upon a time

The bulbul
Wherefore art thou, little bulbul?
You flew to school with me on my first day
See? There you are again
Wearing the same attire always
I’ve moved from house to house
You still follow me everywhere
Wise fellow, I want to ask you about
The facts of life and the world’s affair
You amaze me, bulbul – you are friends with everyone
Every corner of the world is your home

A Strolling in the Garden
Daddy and Mommy took me to school
With a big garden, nice and cool
Leaves and flowers greeted me
Little creatures sang cheerfully
Getting soaked while hiding from rain
Under the friendly tree shade again and again
A daily trip to my dear school
I remember every log and every pool
Fun and laughter in the garden
The memories are simply golden

Fog
The fog hovers above the riverside
Fragile like our lives
Reflecting the golden sunlight
From haze to dews
Like old life becomes new
Memories faded with the wind the blew

Dragonfly
Teasing crystal clear water
A group of cheerful dragonflies
Swamps and trees and flowers
They all love your smiles
Just keep flying high
For one day
Your strong wings
Will take you to the sky

Fly to imagination
Little birds soaring in gutsy storm
Heading out toward the angry sea
Far, far away, to the dreamed destiny
The wind can’t overcome the heart so strong

The couple birds
Two lovebirds flying the sky of love
Chirping happy songs high above
Side by side, going through it all
Come rain or come shine, winter, spring, summer or fall
Wing by wing, together they soar
To the happy home they both long for

Evening
The sun is leaving the sky
Another day has passed by
Sad frowns and happy smiles
Dreams and reality, so is life
There is morning, there is night
Inhale, exhale
Life is spent as each breath goes by

Sunset
Take a rest, sleepy sun
Night time has now begun
The border of darkness and light
Life is both day and night
Just a blanket and a pillow
Will recharge me for tomorrow
