The Grey-headed Negrofinch (Nigrita canicapillus) is a common species of estrildid finch found in Africa. It has an estimated global extent of occurrence of 3,700,000 km².
It is found in Angola, Benin, Cameroon, Central African Republic, the Republic of Congo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda and Zambia. The status of the species is evaluated as Least Concern.
