The philosophy of Holistic Fitness centers on attaining an inner relationship with a personalized program catered to the individual without the usual loud music and bright lights associated with most gyms.
[edit] Celebrity Training
Gregory Joujon-Roche has trained a number of well known celebrities, usually for films that have required a dramatic transformation from the actor or actress. Notable past clients have included Tobey Maguire for Spider-Man, Demi Moore for G.I. Jane, and Brad Pitt for Troy. Both Maguire and Pitt have stated that their pre-production training with Joujon Roche was about six months, six days a week for two to three hours a day.[citation needed] Joujon-Roche would assemble about a dozen people to monitor different aspects of the training, such as a nutritionist, a masseuse, a martial artist, yoga instructor, etc. The weight training for the actors has been described as targeting a different muscle part each day and not moving on until they had 'killed it' and reached a sufficient level of soreness.
Joujon-Roche has published one fitness book called One Body, One Life : Six Weeks to the New You (April 2006).
