Gregory Alan Smith (born April 5, 1967, in Baltimore, Maryland) was a Major League Baseball infielder. He was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 2nd round of the 1987 MLB amateur draft, Smith would make his Major League Baseball debut with the Chicago Cubs on September 2, 1989, and appear in his final game on May 24, 1991.
