Greenwich Arena

The Greenwich Arena will be an indoor sports arena which will be constructed for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, England. It will be located on the Greenwich Peninsula in South East London close to the the O₂, which will also be an Olympic venue. The venue will have a capacity of 6,000 and will stage the rhythmic gymnastics and badminton events. After the Olympics the Greenwich Arena will be dismantled and reassembled elsewhere in the United Kingdom. The site forms part of the Greenwich Peninsula development area, which is one of the largest development projects in London.
