The Green Liberal Party of Switzerland (German: Grünliberale Partei der Schweiz, GLP; French: Verts Libéraux, VL) is a Swiss political party founded on 19 July 2007 by four cantonal parties of the same name from Baselland, Berne, St. Gallen and Zürich. It is a centrist green party.[1] At the last legislative elections, 22 October 2007, the party won 1.4 % of the popular vote and 3 out of 200 seats. [1]
On 25 November, it won a seat in the Council of States for Zürich with Verena Diener.
