This initiative is to promote and to cultivate the habit of planting trees by all citizens of the world. Green India Initiative was developed with this thing in view, that we still can save our earth from destroying. This initiative is promoted by Mr.Ankit Singh Gehlot, who is a student from Jodhpur city of Rajasthan in India and is conservative in meaning of the natural things. He says, " I am not doing this for publicity, but just to realise all the people that the nature is very unhappy with the acts (deforestation,etc) of the human and we can save ourself and the mother earth by planting trees and promoting the natural habitat and living life full of joy and happiness " According to him he has started this initiative on the internet because he thinks that in todays Netsavy generation, the internet is a good medium for posting and spreading your thoughts to all people at once.

According to the Initiative,we must plant more trees and create a Clean and Green India and world. According to the initiative, one must plant trees and contribute in the Nation-wide initiative of Green India.
The fact that separates this initiative from the other Initiative is that in this initiative, no donation is required and the contribution is in the form of Plantation of trees.
According to Mr.Ankit Singh Gehlot, promoter of the Initiative, "I thing that If each citizen pledge to plant tree in India, then more than 10 million trees will be planted which will make India and the whole world more Greener "

Everybody is requested to contribute to the initiative. Just plant a sapling and lead a healthy life. One citizen One tree can make India and the world more greener.
