Greatest Hits III is a compilation of latter-day Queen songs, the band members' solo hits and the band's collaborations with other artists (hence the album's credit to "Queen+"). It was released on November 8, 1999.
[edit] Track listing
- "The Show Must Go On" (Live with Elton John) – 4:35
- "Under Pressure" ('Rah Mix', with David Bowie) – 4:08
- A remix of the original, from the album Hot Space.
- "Barcelona" (recorded by Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballé) – 4:25
- A solo single by Freddie Mercury. Features no input from any other members of the band.
- "Too Much Love Will Kill You" – 4:18
- "Somebody to Love" (Live with George Michael) – 5:07
- "You Don't Fool Me" – 5:22
- "Heaven for Everyone" – 4:37
- "Las Palabras de Amor" – 4:29
- A Brian May composition taken from the Queen album Hot Space.
- "Driven by You" (recorded by Brian May) – 4:09
- "Living on My Own" (recorded by Freddie Mercury, remixed by Julian Raymond) – 3:37
- Remix of a solo single by Freddie Mercury. Features no input from any other members of the band. The Julian Raymond remix (which also features on The Freddie Mercury Album) was included on this album by accident, as it was intended for the much more successful 1993 No More Brothers remix (Radio Mix) to be included. Accordingly, yet inaccurately, the sleeve notes indicate that it is the No More Brothers remix.
- "Let Me Live" – 4:45
- "The Great Pretender" (recorded by Freddie Mercury) – 3:26
- A solo single by Freddie Mercury.
- "Princes of the Universe" – 3:31
- Taken from the Queen album A Kind of Magic. Originally a single release, and previously omitted from the album Greatest Hits II for lack of space.
- "Another One Bites the Dust" (Remix by Wyclef Jean) – 4:20
- "No-One but You (Only the Good Die Young)" – 4:11
- Originally included on the compilation album Queen Rocks.
- "These Are the Days of Our Lives" – 4:22
Bonus Track:
- "Thank God It's Christmas" – 4:19
- Christmas single originally recorded in 1984.
