Great Lakes Adventist Academy

Great Lakes Adventist Academy (GLAA) is a Seventh-day Adventist secondary school located in Cedar Lake, Michigan, United States of America. Its mission statement is as followed "Great Lakes Adventist Academy exists to aid student in becoming responsible, productive, discerning adults with Christ as the center of their lives." [1] Over 90% of GLAA students are accepted to universities around the world the first year. It is the newest of Adventist academies in Michigan but yet the oldest. In the early 1900s, an Adventist school by a different name was opened which in the 1980s changed to its current name: Great Lakes Adventist Academy. GLAA is a co-ed school and has two equally sized dorms, one for each gender. Some main points of GLAA are their multi-million-dollar gymnasium and their huge land.
