Great Chart is a village in civil parish of Great Chart with Singleton in the Ashford District of Kent, England. The parish is split between the ancient village of Great Chart and the modern Singleton housing development, which is part of the western outskirts of Ashford. The village centre of Great Chart lies about two miles (3.2km) from the town centre.
The medieval parish church is dedicated to St Mary; there is also St John‘s Methodist church..
The village has two pubs, The Swan and the Hoodener's Horse and a thriving cricket club. The club has 2 Sunday XI's playing in the Kent Village Leagues , a Saturday "friendly" XI and a number of "colts" teams.
