I reserves the right to completely screw up my edits. I make way too many typos, so copyediting is always appreciated. Copyeditors are a rare breed here on Wikipedia, and we should all give them more appreciation. Thanks for fixing my mistakes, and most importantly, thanks for making this a better place for our readers! |

| AfD |
I have rescued 6 articles for deletion by improving them, some of them with significant help from other editors. The best possible outcome of an AfD discussion is an improved article. How many have you rescued? |

The Deletion Review Barnstar |
| A Deletion Review Barnstar, for your long history of thoughtful and sound DRV closures -- but more specifically for the deleted cabals closure, which was one of the best, and for a very tough discussion. IronGargoyle (talk) 01:22, 19 April 2008 (UTC) |
[edit] Incomplete Destubbing
Pages partially destubbed, roughly in reverse chronological order with how I found out about them and what I think is needed to finish the destubbing.
- Christian Topography - need to look for 20th century sources on the text, find the original quotes by Gibbons and Beazley
- Allen Temple AME Church (Cincinnati, Ohio) - prod patrol, need to use the church's own website, plus someone should follow up on the biographies of print sources listed on the talk page
- Offset loan (finance) - prod patrol - search academic/professional literature, not just popular press
- Warner Sallman - from Christian History & Biography - should have an image of his work of iconic status and be expanded from the academic work on him, more online data would be available to someone with JSTOR/Muse/Questia access
- Sarah Hall Boardman - from Christian History & Biography - needs research
- Lahu Christian churches - Saw it on AfD and did a total rewrite while it had the name Lahu churches. - It needs globalization and generally more effort using yet to be found sources. I intend further effort.
- Backyard Wildlife Habitat - Saw it on proposed deletions and again on AfD. User:Amcbride eliminated the bad content then I destubbed for a joint rescue. - It needs more research, probably library based.
- ProgressSoft - Saw it on AfD and rescued by rewriting - but my vote was only weak keep at the end. - Needs attention by an Arabic speaking editor as I suspect most sources are in Arabic.
- Fountain Trust - Saw it at Wikiproject:Charismatic Christianity. - It needs library reasearch by a UK based editor.
- Qualified Institutional Buyer - Saw it on proposed deletions. - It needs globalization beyond India and the U.S.
[edit] Initial Authorship or Total Rewrites
Pages I initially created, in reverse chronological order.
- Frédéric-Vincent Lebbe - Spring 08 issue of Christian History and Biography
- Moreland Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania - researching whether a recent change was accurate, discovered a topic we were missing
- Johnson's Seagrass - working through NMFS/NOAA recovery plans; the first marine plant listed under the U.S. Endangered Species Act
- Red Paint People - not the first to edit, but did a total rewrite as the sources used had been misinterpreted, so the article missed a century of scientific study of them
- Nescambious The only Native American knighted by the French
- Katahdin Iron Works - Maine state historic site, also location of Gulf Hagas, a national natural landmark
- Phil Callaway - while not the first to edit the page, I did a total replacement version using no text from the prior version in order to rescue from AFD
- Betsey Stockton - the first single female overseas missionary was an emancipated slave, and we don't have an article - fixed that!
- Emily Chubbuck - third wife of Adoniram Judson was a redlink in his biography
- Zayat - I wanted to link to it from Adoniram Judson, and it wasn't there. Made DYK on 7 June 2006.
Invert syrup - requested page which has been merged to Inverted sugar syrup
- Preannouncement - requested page
- Earnings call - requested page
[edit] Destubbing
Pages I have destubbed, roughly in reverse chronological order, with how I found out about them.
[edit] Other Significant Contributions
- After receiving (I have a subscription) an issue of Christian History & Biography focused on Adoniram Judson I got inspired to improve his article and articles on other topics covered in the magazine. If you receive a reliable source yourself, use it! But remember to abide by fair use restrictions.
- I went through all rivers in List of Maine rivers with an article and added links to the U.S. National Geological Service's real time flow data for river flow. This was inspired by my edits to Aroostook River above, which was inspired by SuggestBot.
