[edit] HDMI discussion

I know you mean well, but it really is irrelevant that the opinion came from a major PC magazine columnist. Wikipedia policy is to stick to the provable facts. The opinion that having HDMI, DVI and DisplayPort is folly, while possibly true, remains to be seen. Wikipedia is not in the business to predict the WP:FUTURE. If you have any further questions respond here. -- KelleyCook (talk) 21:13, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

From what I have read opinions are not necessarily off limits in Wikipedia articles. As Wikipedia:Neutral_point_of_view says NPOV does not mean "no points of view" and that an article can include opinions as long as they are attributed to a reliable third party source. PC World has no financial stake in either DisplayPort or HDMI so I see no reason why their opinion can not be mentioned. --GrandDrake (talk) 05:25, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
