The result of the proposal was no consensus to support move. JPG-GR (talk) 05:45, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
I want the page moved back to the old title, which is most widely used in recent books about the Romanovs. --Bookworm857158367 (talk) 18:40, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose There was a discussion that "Latinate" forms should be used where pronunciation does not change. Charles 19:03, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

- Where did this discussion take place? Again, I disagree with using Latin forms of the name for the Romanovs. They are typically referred to by the Russian forms of the names in every bio I've seen in the last 10 years. I note that you also changed the title of the article for Ioan Konstantinovich to John Constantinovich. The body of the article refers to him by his proper name. The title is bound to be confusing to the reader. --Bookworm857158367 (talk) 00:47, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose per Charles. Konstantinovich is a pedantry, which should be avoided both in title and in text; so is Ioan. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 16:41, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

- How is it "pedantry" to refer to someone by his proper name? Ioan was his name; Konstantinovich is the more proper form of the patronymic. These are the forms used in all recent biographies of these people. --Bookworm857158367 (talk) 20:21, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
