Talk:Grand Central Airport (Glendale)

[edit] Name
Would Grand Central Airport (Glendale) be a better name? ·:· Will Beback ·:· 07:48, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
- I agree. The original name was Glendale Municipal, then Glendale Air Terminal in 1929, finally after the war it was Grand Central Airport. Today the focus is on the terminal because that's all that's left. JohnClarknew (talk) 14:31, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Credits
Don't know if, how, or where to mention credits for the old pictures. Many are to be found at the Special Collections room at the Glendale Public Library, and of course without such sources and links, this page couldn't be illustrated. Regardless, thanks is hereby offered to every source. JohnClarknew (talk) 19:15, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Runway numbers and call sign
Does anyone know what these were when it was still operational? Needs to be added. JohnClarknew (talk) 18:50, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
