Graphic Era Institute of Technology (G.E.I.T.) is a private engineering institution in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

G.E.I.T. had a small beginning in 1993 as Graphic Era Computer Center. The school started offering courses in technology in 1998. In 2001, it started offering engineering courses in Computer Science, Information Technology and Electronics and Communication.

G.E.I.T offered its first graduate courses in the summer of 1998 when it introduced Bachelor's of Computer Application (BCA) and Bachelors in Management and IT (BMIT). The classes were conducted from two classrooms and a computer lab in a small commercial building. The first batch graduated in 2001 with a degree in BCA or BMIT.

The school offers bachelor engineering courses in 7 disciplines, M.B.A., M.C.A and B.H.M.C.T..In the summer of 2007 the institute has started M.Tech. degree program in Computer Science & Engineering. Additionally, the Graphic Era Educational Society conducts BBA, B.C.A, B.Sc.(IT) and M.Sc.(IT) in the same campus. The institution is accredited by National Board of Accreditation for M.B.A., M.C.A and B.Tech courses and certified by ISO 9001:2000. The institute has two resource centers in New Delhi and Pune.

The B.M.I.T. degree offered by G.E.I.T. has the dubious distinction of being the only degree of its kind with which only three batches graduated! The degree was later de-commissioned as per UGC orders and the degree course was later restructured according to B.Sc.(IT) system
